The only reason things happen is because an action caused a reaction. There is no grand puppeteer with a predestined plan. Your choices directly effect the reactions in your life, as well as those around you, as their choices effect them as well as you. To believe that things are predestined is to remove responsibility for your choices. How could you be responsible for whatever you do if it was meant to happen? This is a cowards belief, take responsibility for what you do and what you influence.
